If you are interested in being a part of the Harrier Team please add you name to this blog
Hi Mike fancy seeing you on here :), Yes is the answer i will be putting the results on as soon as they are emailed to me... Hows training ? whats your next race ?
Hi Nick ive put my name down for the relays got nothing else planned at the moment. Did you get caught up with the herd of cattle at burrator last Saturday?
Nick, if you think I am going to call you legend, think again. You haven't earnt the right yet. Once you have dirtied your shoes a dozen times and bled the blood of three conflicts then maybe! Apart from that every thing else on the website is brilliant. i bet you never thought I would leave a blog.
Hi Nature Boy!!! i see a tall order a!! i will have to get my wellingtons out for a nature trail jog! Im glad you like the site! Still im shocked that you managed to send a blog did Carole show you ?
I see that Ami was second fastest female at last nights Erme Valley relays, only beaten by international runner - Jess Burns. Great turn out from the Harriers, despite the weather.
Not telling you what we are doing on Torture Tuesday. It will be a nice surprise!
you crazy Duncan i think i will be a couple of stone lighter after tomorrows six moor miles :) but as its the clubs outfit now, you can wear it to any race ? LONDON 2009 sounds good !!! heheh see you tomorrow mate
Well done everyone for a great "helping hand" turn out and successful race again at Yelverton on Sunday. Race limit increase to 500 next year possibly?.....and about five wild cards for some Harriers runners to be allowed to compete in it, to boot?! That would be hoping for too much perhaps!
Hi commander, they must be ex rangers players? or maybe Argle? I think the Girls did well !! a big inprovement on their previous times over that distance :)
Harry is our little guy !!! members are taking him on holiday, for photos !! he's going to Iran next !! i think he is in the med at the moment..Lucky so and so !
Hi Nick and Jo, Just thought I would drop you a line to say hello from sunny Iraq. Please let the girls know that I am still getting some running in, although I am limited to a 2 mile route. I also have to carry a number of awkward items such as radios and weapons, and the packs of wild dogs can make the runs a bit more interesting than normal. I hope everyone in the Harriers is well, keep up the good work on the website.
Life begins at 40? - so if that's true then roll on November 20th - when I will be just that! A bit of an admission from somebody as low profile as myself but it has something to do with the fact that it's the Harriers Boys' night out the following night. Mine's an after shock followed by a snakebite. Thanks in anticipation, who ever you are!
A good event two weeks ago and plenty of drink was consumed - and the odd drop spilt! I was the worse for wear the next day and felt every one of my 40 years then but at least it was as the result of having had a good night out beforehand! May bring some of the photos along to the club before Christmas if I can be bothered to go out and buy a new tri-colour cartridge! - sorry Russ!
